@Chris E when you say removal closed did they dismissed are terminated your removal

@tas smith The case was administratively closed. After my i130 approval, I plan to effectively dismiss it from court completely.

my case was administratively closed still pending I-130 approval attorneys stated once I-130 is approved we have to go get it dismissed before we can file I-485

@ Chris if ur hearing date for i485 is very close no need to file with usicis . the judge will do ur adjust and u get ur green card in court . sometime if u decide to terminate it and return to uscis it may take longer depending on how busy ur local uscis office is so in my opinion just let you attorney decide for u

well in my case @Chris E I got my removal proceedings terminated by the judge, he gave me a letter stating that, so that letter I sent to uscis to reopen my I 485 case, the inmigration court did nothing now uscis is the one who can approved my case, it depends what you letter says, I'm talking about the letter uscis sent you to let you know they closed your case, mine said: we closed your cade because you are in removal proceedings once the judge terminate your proceedings send us that confirmation to reopen your case. and that's exactly what I did, don't do things on your own, your letters should say your next step. also my 130 was approved in January and the termination of the proceedings was in April of this year both, I think they terminate your removal once your 130 is approved
