Recently transferred to Kansas city FO
My case has been recently transferred to Kansas city FO from NBC last 06/18/23. Prior to that they approved my EAD 06/02/23 which is a relief for me. Has anyone from had recent or previous experience with this Field Office? Thanks

I submitted everything including the medical.
Any shared thoughts and experience is much appreciated.
Denied over 1.25 years of waiting, with an immigration lawyer helping
Concerned that the immigration officer and didn't even look at our paperwork and all the evidence we submitted with the help of an expensive immigration lawyer waited 1.25 years for nothing, our immigration system still runs on snail mail, and they could easily just send information through an email or update on the site, it's an easy fix, yet people are flooding the boarder for asylum and people who choose to do the right thing get screwd.

what should I do?
Can I submit my I-864 form and my exam without them approving my I-130 and I-485 without having an RFE? I have been waiting for 261 days for my I-130 approval, what do you recommend I wait for the request or send it?

US Government filing motions to have I-601A Mandamus cases dismissed I601A
The US government has held up the class action case from Immpact that many here were encouraged to pay $1,000 for, as the government filed a request to have the entire case dismissed. USCIS's claim is that all the plaintiffs included in that Immpact lawsuit have cases that are within the current "normal processing times".
As of last month, more than 10,000 people had filed Writ of Mandamus lawsuits to try and have their I-601A and other cases processed faster. I have read that the US government has begun filing requests to have some of those mandamus cases dismissed, again claiming that the Writ of Mandamus is not valid, since the cases involved are still within the normal stated processing times (currently 44 months for I-601A).
We were about to file a mandamus as our I-601A case has a receipt date of August, 2020, but our lawyer charges $8,000 to file. I don't want to spend that kind of money if USCIS is just going to work to have it dismissed and the only answer is to continue waiting for them to process the case. That is a lot of $$ for us to maybe lose. #I-601A #I601A #Mandamus #Processing
