I need an advice please
my removal proceedings just got terminated and I was talking to my lawyer to proceed with adjusting my status and then he wants to charge me $3000 more which I think is outrageous. I am thinking I should fill my form myself Since the hard part as been done . but I need yall opinion on this . what would you do ? this immigration has really drained me that I can't even afford another lawyer with thier crazy bills .

Yesterday and this morning I saw two emails from USCIS. Both emails stated “We have taken action on your case.” I was puzzled because I saw no changes on my case. Then I saw that my i131 case was closed. That brought about some interest so I reached out to a live agent, inserted my 13 digits and asked about my case. She then told me that I was approved a COMBO CARD. Damn! I am ecstatic at the moment. My question here is this! HOW LONG AFTER COMBO CARD/TRAVEL DOCUMENT GOT APPROVED DOES THE GREEN CARD GET APPROVED?

I originally submitted my I765 sep. 2022, however I entered categorie C31. I sent another one under category C09 May of this year and was approved in 2 months. I'm so truly grateful.

Do you E-mail NVC documents ??!
Hi there, help please people with experience of NVC .
After uploading documents on the NVC portal do you also have to email them to NVC?? I’m so confused becuae we’ve uploaded everything but it’s sending us messages saying that documents are missing but we’re very sure we’ve uploaded everything they need. Any help is much appreciated .

Didnt even know it was shipped. Got the notification from Lawfully saying it was delivered. So I checked the mailbox and the green card & SSN was just chilling there!

I just got a notification from Lawfully about case update. I logged into my online account and saw a second active review with the approval letter in the documents sections!! I filed for my wife and 2 minor kids who live overseas in Lebanon. I am a USC. Priority date was September 9 2022. 2nd active review today with no RFE. All three of them were approved! Praise the Lord! Hope everyone receives good news soon!
Hey everyone! I have two questions that I would like some input on.
I filled my VAWA on June 2021, at that time my then lawyer told me not to file for I485 saying that it was better to wait for VAWA approval first. So my question is: can I apply now even though my VAWA hasn’t been approved? I really want a new work permit since my older one has expired and I can’t renew it.
And the second question is: after sending me my PF every six months on the dot they missed this last one. Could that be a signal that they are finally looking at my case and that’s why I didn’t get an automatic renewal?
