Hey everyone! I have two questions that I would like some input on.
I filled my VAWA on June 2021, at that time my then lawyer told me not to file for I485 saying that it was better to wait for VAWA approval first. So my question is: can I apply now even though my VAWA hasn’t been approved? I really want a new work permit since my older one has expired and I can’t renew it.
And the second question is: after sending me my PF every six months on the dot they missed this last one. Could that be a signal that they are finally looking at my case and that’s why I didn’t get an automatic renewal?

What Did Emma Mean?

She wrote the following:
“All cases are always being actively reviewed.
I do see that something was done
07/25/2023. But we are not able to disclose what was done.”
I haven’t seen any updates since RRFE on 6/15. What could this be?

Anyway out 😀 USCIS British national Indian Origin.
1. British National.
2. Employer British Company.
3. Transfered from UK to US within British Company.
4. L1A was approved in United Kingdom 🇬🇧
throughout the whole process it was UK 🇬🇧 where I have worked for 12 years + I'm a British national. (Nothing to do with India 🇮🇳 nor any documents related to India provided nor needed).
Hurdle: for i485 Green Card, I'm now in the cue being Indian origin hahahaha 😆. Is this how USCIS works? I don't even have Indian Passport for the years 😕

Hi, my dependents (son and wife) received their Green cards in mail yesterday while mine is still showing as under process and not approved yet. I am getting conflicting information whether my wife can use it for her travel to home country or not. Attorney said since primary is not approved, her GC is not valid for work or travel even though she has received the card, while talking to Emma Live agent and calling USCIS number, they said my wife can use her card even if mine is still not approved. did anyone face similar issue where dependents got approved and primary still pending?

Of those who have sent medical RFE to field offices, how long did it take for them to update your case status to “Response to Evidence Was Received” after you mailed out? Which field office?
Did you also get an update on your case status saying “Request to Evidence Was Sent” when you received your medical RFE?

“Your case is still within normal processing time, your interview has been waived. Please continue waiting for a officer to make a decision on your case.”
Has anyone spoken to an agent and got this message. How long after did you wait for a decision on your case?
