NVC Expedite
Hello I submitted an expedite request and this is what I recieved in my email. What does that mean?
The National Visa Center (NVC) will send your request for expedited processing to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Please note: Although only the U.S. Embassy or Consulate can approve or deny expedite requests, NVC will send you the result of your request when completed. You do not need to contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
However, if you do not receive a response from NVC within 30 days, please follow up by email to nvcexpedite@state.gov.

i601A approved in June, Interview in Sept
#i601a #I-601A #NVC
Hi I just wanted to to give an update on my husband’s case so people can have a timeline. Please keep in mind that everyone’s case is different so it may work out differently for your case.
My husband’s i601a was received on 3/5/2020 approved on 6/6/23 after we filed a writ of mandamus in May 2023 after submitting many inquiries & contacted our congressman and speaking to Tier2 agents (which was useless). We were very lucky to have the waiver approved because I do know that USCIS is now fighting back against individual mandamus. We submitted our DS-260 back in December 2022 to get a head start on things and NVC quickly responded in 3 weeks saying they had reviewed all of our civil docs and that only one was missing. We waited until after we filed the lawsuit to submit that last document to NVC because we didn’t want to get an interview date before having the waiver approved. NVC then DQ my husband’s case on 7/6/23 and approved our expedite request on 7/7/23 (my attorney went ahead a submitted an expedite request to NVC and luckily they approved it). My husband’s interview will be in Honduras. The embassy in Honduras received my husband’s case on 7/10/23 and they also approved the expedite and we got an email from NVC saying that once the embassy in Honduras had a date available for my husband they would schedule and then notify us. On 8/1/23 we got an email saying my husband’s interview appointment was scheduled for September!!
Honduras seems to be moving very quickly with their visa appointments and we feel very blessed to have gotten an appointment so quickly. Please don’t give up hope. I know this process has been long and painful for many of us. I truly hope that you all have your waivers approved soon 🙏🏼
Case still @ National Benefits Center!
I chatted with a Live Agent this Morning via Emma & I was told my cases are still @ the National Benefits Center. I filed my cases "I-485, I-131, I-765 in November 2022. I got the I-765 approved in April. So far so good, USCIS says my case is progressing normally.
I read about people having their cases being transferred to Field Office & they get their approval within a short while. A lot of people that filed after I did have had their cases approved. I filed with a valid Non Immigrant visa with no case of overstay. Should I worry about my case being stucked @ the National Benefits Center?
Please, kindly advice I am feeling very sad now.

I am a US citizen. My husband’s I-130 got approved in June, 2023 and currently it is in NVC for Consular processing. We already paid the fees and submitted all documents.
But my husband is now in USA with B2 visa, can we do Adjustment I-485 here now or do I need to file I-824 first?
we are confused what would be the better option.
Filling for my husband in Nigeria.
We prayed for an approval notice for 10 months. We kept asking God to expedited our process. It usually takes 15.5 months but we got approved in less time. God is good and he will do the same for you 🙏🏽😇❤️

Hello house please I received this email from USCIS after so many inquiry. I don't knw if anyone has received such before my spouse believes its a generic statement. Answers will be greatly appreciated 🙏
does the I765 EAD approval happen only AFTER medical RFE for C09 AOS? PD: Nov 22, didn’t submit medical with initial
I’m just worried that my EAD won’t be approved till AFTER USCIS requests for my medical that I didn’t include in initial filing. I still haven’t heard back from USCIS since December 22, so I’m worried that there’s something wrong with my case
