Case still @ National Benefits Center!
I chatted with a Live Agent this Morning via Emma & I was told my cases are still @ the National Benefits Center. I filed my cases "I-485, I-131, I-765 in November 2022. I got the I-765 approved in April. So far so good, USCIS says my case is progressing normally.
I read about people having their cases being transferred to Field Office & they get their approval within a short while. A lot of people that filed after I did have had their cases approved. I filed with a valid Non Immigrant visa with no case of overstay. Should I worry about my case being stucked @ the National Benefits Center?
Please, kindly advice I am feeling very sad now.

You should be concerned but not stressed out. Even when your case is transferred to your FO it will still depend on the processing time there. For example, my FO average processing time is 32.5 months 🤯. I submitted September 2022 and while my case was transferred to my FO in April or June I have yet to hear from them and it might be Because of their outrageous processing time.
Note... I too am adjusting status from a valid B1/B2 visa with no overstays. Been visiting the US since 2000. Your case probably already transferred to your FO and Emma agent not giving accurate info. Try contacting another agent and they may tell you it was transferred

@Sept 16, 2022 . my cases are still at NBC, it was never transferred to anywhere & that is why its giving me a lot of concern. I chat with agents via Emma 2 - 3 times a week, till this now, my case is still @ NBC, the agent confirmed this Morning.
Me too, I have been visiting the United States 🇺🇸 over 20 years even from the time I was living in Europe, my highest stay was 12 days.

some cases don’t have to go to field office to be approved.

Hi there! Based on everything that I have read on here, so far sounds like 2021 and 2022 PDs are taking forever, while 2023 PDs are being approved within 2-6 months.

many PD is September 6 2022 and stuck at NBC too… no EAD 😤

When I wrote to my Congresswoman I was told that there's nothing that can be done as USCIS processes cases on a first come first serve basis which is a lie
Jennie .Aug 2, 2023
@Sept 16, 2022 . I think 🤔 that's correct. We may all be @ NBC but our Processing Officers & Field Offices are different. Some USCIS offices are faster than others.

my PD is Dec 22 I got a letter within a couple days after I summit my application that they will use my previous biometrics, I have DACA. I thought that would make the process faster but nope. still waiting nothing has changed ever since at nbc too

@JENNIFER AHANA did you submit medical with your application?
or you got RFE about medical?
Jennie .Aug 3, 2023
@Venky Nadella I didn't submit medical with my application, I got notification about the medical which I have done almost 6 months ago & USCIS have not yet requested for it. Like @Sept 16, 2022 . was saying earlier about my case probably being already transfered to my FO, I had to contact USCIS this evening, again I was told my cases as of 29th of July 2023 which was the last update are still in NBC. According to her & on my page Via USCIS, the cases are progressing normally. But U know, when U see people that submitted less than 60 days ago being approved, then U will be worried.
Venky NAug 4, 2023
@JENNIFER AHANA some people who submitted medical during the initial submission they got approved pretty fast. Since USCIS have not requested your medical, maybe they will call you for interview or they will ask RFPE for medical which pretty much will be the next step.
I got medical RFE here after 40 days at my PD
Jennie .Aug 4, 2023
@Venky Nadella the truth of the matter is that it depends on your Field Office & who in particular that is processing your case. I have seen some people here in Lawfully that their priority dates are before me, that submitted with medical & they have not even gotten EAD, I have seen some that were approved without even RFE of any kind including that of medical. Well, hopefully I hear from USCIS very soon cos my I-130 is already showing my next step as "USCIS reviewing your case".
Venky NAug 4, 2023
@JENNIFER AHANA you’re right it depends 2023 ones are moving fast though
All the best Jennifer you’ll make it soon
Jennie .Aug 4, 2023
@Venky Nadella thanks 😊. All of us will definitely go through.
