Should I send Medicals?
Hello,
I submitted my I-485 on March 31st (the last day before the retrogression) but without medical. My PD is 9/22/2022. So I am not currently yet.
When my PD becomes current, they will ask for medical and start the process again. Now I am thinking of sending the medical form before they ask so that they review everything together when I become current.
Is this advisable? Has anybody done this? What are your experiences?
Please note that my I-765 has been accepted.
Thank you for your responses.
concern
hi there. I filed back in July. I wanted to ask and see if anyone has a similar experience. when I was 17 I got arrested for shoplifting and the case was dismissed. I did disclose this to Uscis and mailed the deposition paper along with application. would this cause a problem with my case? I did my biometrics already and case says
"under review" for i765 and i485. FO:NBC
after interview I heard nothing
I applied for green card, marriage based. At the end of the interview, officer told me I'll be getting a mail to send the i693. it's been 7 months since the interview, I heard nothing yet. is this normal? I'm not sure what to do or who I should contact.

Travel out of US right after Oath ceremony - Allowed or not?
Hi People,
Hear me out - I got a special case for you all. I have applied for US Citizenship and I am estimating by end of the year I should get interview scheduled and Oath. I checked online and it says it takes 1-2 months to get US passport.
Now the main issue - I am planning to travel to India in Dec ‘23 and come back around Mid Feb ‘24.
Would I be able to travel to India? I looked up online and what I am aware of till now is I can go to India without US passport as I can show my Indian passport as a primary document but while coming back from India to US, they will ask for my US passport which I won’t have if I don’t get it before Dec ‘23.
Also I got one more issue where while booking flights right now - I would have to provide my Indian passport number but when I will travel I might have become US citizen (if I would have completed my Oath) so not sure what to do in that case?
SSN after EAD receival?
myprogress tab on USCIS website was showing as 3 weeks until decision then today the most awaited update is here. I wanted to check on SSN, should I apply after receiving the card or? I saw previously people who ticked to get both together and never received it. How to go about SSN? and how long does it take to receive the EAD card?

Is anyone familiar with this 485 status of ready to schedule interview?
