Can I apply for student visa , if my f2b I -130 is pending?
f2b is taking longer and longer so I wanted know if there any possibility of rejection on student visa. My pd is 2021 June, according to visa bulletins it probably takes 8 - 10 years. So I wanted to apply for student visa, any chance of rejection due to f2b I-130 processing? help.

you need to proove that you will be coming back to your country. which might be difficult since fam is in US. going for a tourist and then getting status changed to student might be an area to look into.

@zoe lag nop, B1/B2 even harder than student visa, you should ask your lawyer first.
