Lost passport before citizenship interview
Hello, I have my green card, but next year I will have my interview for citizenship. The thing is I lost my passport and I am from Venezuela, as far as I know we don’t have a Consulate here so even if wanted to replace the lost one I couldn’t do it before the interview. Is the physical passport required to obtain citizenship? I have photocopies of all my old passports, thank you ☺️💖

You don't need your Venezuelan passport for Citizenship because it doesn't belong to them. You only need your greencard. That's the only thing they will take from you other than that you're fine.

you don’t need your home country passport to apply for citizenship. they are only going to ask you to bring any passport or travel document you used in connection with your travel outside of the United States also it doesn’t have to be valid at all or if it is lost or stolen you don’t need to worry about it at all. mine expired last year and they didn’t ask me during my interview 5 days ago and I still got approved for naturalization. Good luck
