1.4 years and still nothing
Hello! had my fingerprints taken last year, my EAD got approved after 8m on April 7th, 2023… my I-130/I-485 still says your case is being actively reviewed by USCIS. I got a courtesy letter about a missing document (medical) still haven’t received any RFE or Interview date yet, any word of wisdom? I feel like every ppl around me gets their approval for less than I’ve been waiting
EAD replacement process (based on pending asylum)
5 months after applying for asylum (and the case still pending) I applied for EAD. It was a smooth process, however, I moved when they delivered the card and I didn’t receive it. It’s a long story and a new tenant was checking the mailbox.
A month later I applied for a card replacement and had to pay $400 this time. There was only one caveat: they asked for a proof that my original card was stolen/damaged. If you didn’t receive your card and apply for a replacement, provide additional information about not receiving the card and what you tried to do to get it.
I submitted a letter with every action I took, screenshots from a new tenant confirming that he checked the mail, request to change the address (before the card has been sent). Luckily it pushed the process by a few days only and I received my new/replacement card in about 5 weeks after applying.

i applied on the 6th of September 2022 and on the 31 of march they sent me an email saying that they gona start processing my papers soon and since then they have sent everything like (work authorization and social security number and the travel authorization) when should I expect my green card ?

My case was approved on spot today August 9. However, the update I see on the tracker is “Case was submitted for quality review based on an approval recommendation” What’s next? Has anyone on here received that update after their interview??

I received a message from my congresswoman that my work permit application expedite request has been approved and I should receive notice of an adjudicative action shortly. has this ever happened to anyone? if yes, how long did it take you to be officially approved and get your card in hand?

Hi everyone! Today, my I-130 was approved, but the Form I-485 is still pending. I was wondering if anyone knows when the I-485 should be approved as well. I have found different time frames for cases in a similar situation. TIA
