EB2 ROW Cross-Chargeability
Hello!
I applied for I-485 AOS through Cross Chargeable through my Spuse’s Country of Birth (South Africa)
USCIS sent Application Receipt on August 5.
On Aug 13, my Spouse received RFE Notification for I-485 Application. Meanwhile, my I-485, I-765 and I-131 are all in Application Received Status.
I have two questions:
1. Will I have to wait for RFE to be Resolved for Me and My Spouse to get a Biometrics Appointment or is it something that happens in parallel while RFE is being processed?
2. Any idea what RFE Notice would be for? We sent our Marriage Certificates and Birth Certificates with the Application.

I-485 New Office Jurisdiction Update, Did You Get RFE or Interview Notice First?
The people who have been on pending I360 and got an update on their I485 saying a new office now has jurisdiction can you tell me how soon you got that update and after what? Was it RFE or your interview? I’m asking because apparently USCIS send me a mail, but sent it to the wrong address, even though I updated mine with them 4 years ago. When I called, they couldn’t tell me details, just said agent 2 would call me to update my address but they never did. I updated my address online again, requested a copy and still nothing, but I’m worried they might have mailed me an interview notice that I missed. So, if anyone can confirm what notice they got after their I-485 status changed like mine, it would help give me some peace of mind. Thanks

Approved today! Thank God for answering my prayers.
I can’t wait to have my daughter and my husband in the state. Resident is Canada, waiting for next steps.

My Approval Letter and I-94 came in today. I’m so so Happy. Wishing everyone still waiting for decision the very best. It’s been a long journey and I’m glad I can sleep well at night now and no longer be scared of what the future holds. AO was so nice to me. probably the best one anyone could ever ask for. 😭🙏
H4 & H4 EAD extension under process I-9 got re-verified
I work under H4-EAD, which expired last month. My payroll was suspended on the day the EAD expired.
My H4 and H4 extension applications were filed in time in Feb and spose got her premium approval for H1B within weeks.
For me, I-9 verification process from employer side just concluded yesterday and they have re-verified my I-9.
The documents submitted: expired EAD, I797 receipt for EAD extension that validates 540 days extension.
My Concern: USCIS guidelines around 540 days extension are a bit vague when it comes to underlying H4. In most cases it appears that H4 has to be approved for the 540 days extension to kick in, but how do they treat a timely filed H4 extension application?
Do I run a risk of falling on the wrong side of USCIS if I resume my work? Are there additional things to consider or can i trust my employer's process here?
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
ive done my interview in Pittsburgh PA since 6/10/25 an my case status still saying interview was scheduled, do anyone ever go through this before?
