Separately Applied for SIJS Deferred Action.
Hi, I separately applied for Deferred Action (DA) on January 1, 2026. My lawyer advised me to apply, saying that there is a possibility of approval. Today, I went and provided my fingerprints for the DA application. Now I am hearing that USCIS is granting Deferred Action automatically in some cases. I also saw that if DA is denied, they may place the applicant in removal proceedings. I am confused about what I should do at this point. #sijs #deferredaction #eb4
