@PD: Oct 2021 hi, I read your post about your first interview. what did you answer to the questions about how did you find the job and why are you working an unskilled job even with you bachelor’s degree?
PD: Oct 2021Apr 26, 2026
@Pujan Shrestha bro you just have to be honest to the officer and say what is truth as per my lawyer. So I said I got the job from an agency called BDV and I said I’m working unskilled for my green card

@PD: Oct 2021 that’s the plan. I’m just confused cause I have Masters degree and doing CPT, if it’s an issue for concern, how does USCIS expect us to maintain status while our case is in process? I started my process at the end of 2021 and my PD was current just last month - 4-5 years!

@P. Shrestha yeah bro I also left my OPT status when I got the EAD from my employer in 2022. I worked for six months and then left for skilled job and currently working skilled. the interviewer asked me about it and I answered honestly. He did say like applying for unskilled job when I have bachelor raise concerns but my lawyer said not to worry and can’t be denied based on that. So, having a masters degree won’t have any problem bro just tell them you’re doing it for the immigration process

@PD: Oct 2021 yes I was told so too. I also read one of the applicant’s post here, where they were working with their STEM Opt while their process was for unskilled - their interview was waived and he got the card! so it gives me hope. Thank you for your input, hope to hear your good news soon!
