@Kat R not is not the reason, it’s because in general now travel to outside the country is a risk. maybe nothing happen but is a risk. I traveled in 2024 one time, and now i’m scared bc my lawyer say everything is complicate and risky 🫠

I applied for mine five months ago since it is taking too long for them to make a decision on my case (started Oct 2021, VAWA approved Nov 2024, medicals sent Feb 2025, still no decision). So I applied for mine not thinking about travel when I receive it, but to have an option in case something bad happens to my family and I need to visit them ASAP. I am tired of losing family members and not being able to attend their funerals. If they approve mine, I will let you know.
