“We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of the security checks” ?
Hi everyone! please help if anyone is experiencing the same situation. I filed a case on April,2022 and still waiting for an approval, waited outside the normal standard time, I made an inquiry and I received an email saying to wait for security checks. It’s ridiculous that I waited more than 4 months since the day my RFE was received just for security checks? I don’t know what to do anymore because everytime I contact USCIS, they kelp telling that there’s nothing they can do because the case is not in their hands. Seriously how much longer I have to wait 😭#RFE #securitychecks

I called USCIS call center and lady on the phone said the case (I-130) was received and has been actively reviewed in Nebraska Service Center (I thought it was Potomac as I first received the notice from) since January 2023. Has anyone gotten decision or approved from Nebraska for January 2023 and if so, are you a citizen or green card holder? How long has your case been pending?
Ps: I see more people getting approved and I am already losing my patience, lol no hard feelings!!
