still waiting after a month from sending bonafide marriage rfe response
Hi all,
I was wondering if it’s normal to not have the I-130 approved even after a month from responding to the bonafide marriage rfe? We originally applied in August 2022 got the bonafide marriage rfe in September 2023 , responded in December 2023. The portal promptly updated saying that they recieved our response and are working on the case again. It’s been over a month now and I see that many people here report they got their petition approved within 2-3 days of responding to the rfe. We were asked to send our response to the Dallas Field office but we live in Utah. I am just worried about the reason for the delay. Does anyone have a similar experience?

@niceto M I file july of 2022 received rfe on July 2023, reply to rfe in August. I got approved In Oct. If you don't get approval within 2 months reach out to Emma good luck.

@july2022 june2023 I see. That’s where we originally sent and received the earlier communications from but the rfe came from dallas fo and we were told to send our reply there as well
