Country of origin of the Fiancé affects approval speed?
Hello community.
I just wanted to share a hypothesis with you, and see if it is true. It seems, that there is something like a list of Red, Yello and Green countries. Green zone countries seem to get approval faster, while Yellow and Red zone countries take many years.
The zone of the country is directly related to how wealthy it is, and how many cases of and reasons to cheat the USA immigration. For example EU/UK/NZ/AU/CA (the greenest zone) get approval much faster, sometimes even skipping the interview stages, while people from other countries are tortured for years.
This opinion is based on a lot of research on Reddit and in this app.
Please 🙏 try adding the origin country of your spouse to your question and replies, as this helps to better understand who is getting approved faster and who is getting it slower.

Yeah, the example above with Canada VS Haiti somewhat confirms my point.

@New Hope I’m from Canada…. 7.5 months and waiting for my green card… my EAD was approved on the day of biometrics which I think is because I was already in the system with a valid visa and my background check is instantaneous because it’s with the Canadian government. But it’s not like Canadians get a quick stamp. so far I am “average”
