Chat Emma to remind them that your case is now current. Most people do this and their case was adjudicated faster. Hope this helps.

what should I write on the chat?

First type “connect to live agent”, second do you have a receipt number say no then you will be connected to a person. The agent will request your information, after you’ve provided all the info requested they will ask how they can help you today, there you can inform them that your date is current and continue the chat.

Even if you give a receipt number, you will still get connected.

@Sati 01 every chat with Emma (live agent) or the call center is recorded and reviewed most time. Now that you’ve done this hopefully the adjudicating officer takes a second look at your case.

Has anyone.seen an approval from Case remains pending status in Jan so far? My PD is Aug 2017 which became current from Jan 1st.

Hello, similar boat! CRP since Nov 23, 2023. PD is July 2019. Case at LA field office. submitted medical again in Dec but online not updates to RFE sent or Received; just CRP Since late Nov 2023.

@Mr Whiz, I think your chat strategy with a live agent works. Because I did that continuously for three weeks and got approval, it may be a coincidence, but I would say it's worth trying!

@Sati 01 So happy it worked for you. People must use all possible alternatives to have their case approved. There is no harm when you try, inquire or keep talking to USCIS about your case. It does have effect.

@Mr Whiz Now the status says we have sent you the approval notice follow the instructions given in the letter and if you don't receive that letter by 7th Feb, contact us back. Do we need to follow instructions and do more paperwork to get the green card, or will we receive the GC with the approval letter?

@Sati 01 No more paper work. The approval notice usually come first before the actual card. You will have to wait, once the card is produced it will be mailed to you. Most times they may not update that card is being received or mailed to you on the USCIS portal. Signup to USPS informed delivery so you will know when the card is coming to you even when the update didn’t show. Thanks and congrats again.
