IR1 Administrative processing
Hello everyone , my husband had his immigration visa interview today , everything went fine he went super prepared with all the documents they requested , nothing was missing , however towards the end of his interview the officer gave him a 221g letter stating that the visa was refused and he needs to answer few questions he will get in the email which it was the DS5535 .. we completed the questions and submitted it today .. does anyone knows how long does that process take? location is US consulate in Vienna ..
EB3 derivative approved 8 months after primary after service request
My wife was the primary applicant and was approved all the way back in June 2023 just before the retrogression. I unfortunately was scheduled for an interview and fell into the retrogression. My case was put in CRP pending a visa number immediately after the interview. Our pd finally became current again in Jan 2024 but there was no movement still.
I finally called and found that they had put me under my birth country(India) for chargeability instead of my wife(ROW). This had me in an indefinite 12 yr backlog instead of being current. They put in a service request to correct it to ROW and I was finally approved yesterday, after around 2 weeks.
If you're in CRP status, please be proactive. Do not assume USCIS will do things correctly. I would have been waiting for a long time had I not called and put in the service request.

Asylum Approval
Hi everyone, I have a quick question. Has anyone experienced this? My attorney received an approval notice on his email I believe and it has been more than 2 weeks. When I check online it still shows “decision pending”. I have not received any original documents for approval and when I contacted USCIS Asylum office they told me my case is still under review and is pending for final review/approval. Anybody experienced same thing?

my progress tab went to “taking longer than usual” to “2 Weeks” is that a good sign?
Hi,
I submitted my approbation for I-765 back in November 2023. initially my progress tab was showing 4 weeks, every Thursday it went down by a week and when it was time to hit the 0 mark, it changed from 1 week to taking longer than usual. I checked today and it changed to 2 weeks again.
Has this happened to someone? is this a good sign?
