I-140 approved / tourist visa
I got my I-140 approved on July 2023 and I’m already DQ. However, due to the visa bulletin delay I’m not able to get an interview yet.
I need to go to the US for a week for an event I’m organizing, so I’m applying for a tourist visa (B1/B2). Has anyone gone through this? I’m worried it won’t get approved.
is this normal or am i missing something?
I filed to expedite my case yesterday and got an email stating that they are looking into my inquiry.
"After careful review of your inquiry to expedite your I-130 Petition for Alien Relative, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your case; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the Vermont Service Center."
it seems fine at first glance but when i got the receipt for receiving my i-130 application when I first sent it in. It had said that I was at the nebraska service center... so why is the inquiry "suppose to be best processed where my case is being processed then say vermont?" or are they shifting the whole case and inquiry to a different service center?

Hi all! 130 and 485 updated to “Actively being reviewed” Thursday and Saturday, I just found an update informing me the 130 was approved! I can’t believe it finally happened!! What usually happens in this case? will I-485 be approved quickly? Is it bad only one got approved?

Hi there,
quick question on the supporting financial documents for NVC.
My husband filed his taxes for 2023 back in February but his tax transcript is not available yet. Is it possible to submit his 2022 tax transcript and his 2023 W2? We will also submit recent pay stubs, a letter from his landlord and an employment letter.
Will this be alright?
