I finally got my EAD approval after a year plus. Total days 399days. My advice to everyone waiting, is that you should never give up. It can be delayed but you will surely get it.

how long, I'm going crazy
we already had our interview and it is taking more than 120 days. i'm going crazy. the government won't even allow for federal aid in colleges for my children due to no green card even though they are in this long process. are 2022 filers being left in the pile? If they could have just tried to finish from the oldest to the earliest case it would have been fairer. I dont know how long to wait? my processing time says its 1 week but it has been like that a month ago

My Interview went very well and fast, I had to ask my field officer to repeat a lot because he had a thick accent. I was so afraid that would piss him off, but he was very nice. He asked 6 questions.

This took 2.5 hrs: included standing in line and sitting everyone, instructions on how to get a passport and SSN, a few congratulations speeches, Judge’s stories, getting sworn in, reciting the national anthem “Star-spangled Banner” and The pledge of allegiance, listening to the choir singing “this land is my land…”. After the ceremony, I got in line to get my new SSN to get it done with because I was there already and it was very fast. I suggest doing that right away. I'm scheduled to get my passport next week. Make a few copies of your certificate because you need to send in the original copy for the passport.

Hello everyone! I just filed I-130 on April 2024 for my husband but I’m seeing a lot of people that filed all three forms I-130, I-485, and I-765 together? I’m wondering if that’s why we haven’t received a biometric appointment notice yet from Nebraska? Planning to file I-485 here soon and will also file I-765 if needed . do you think having all 3 forms filled out and submitted will help speed up the process? Honestly just want to get over the biometric steps so he can get his EAD 😩

Hi guys, I just got a notification stating my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Both me and my spouse got the interview scheduled. I am on f1 and tps status, has anyone gotten interview with same status and what questions were asked for both you and the spouse. Please share, I would really appreciate it. Thank you🙏

I have x2 Masters degrees in Engineering fields. I have had my EAD for the last 30 days and it’s a shame that I have still not been able to find suitable work. It’s really sad as the region my wife and I live at also doesn’t help either but the Lord will provide in his timing.
Today I signed up to do an odd delivery jobs. I worked 30 mins to get a feel for it and I earned $17 w/tips. Truly grateful for the opportunity to keep my mind from not going rogue.
I haven’t seen too many post regarding this topic besides everyone trying to be collectively anxious for your respective permits and cards. I think, we should work even harder once we get our approvals to support our loved ones and community that are in for the immigration ride. I have also been guilty of the similar anxious thoughts that my posts may accuse you. Today, I choose to volunteer my time for something productive and it was rewarding.
