k-1 , I-130 , I-601
alguien tiene experiencia de visa k-1 cambiar a I-130 con otra persona ciudadana americana y tener que pedir el I-601 sin tener que salir de USA.
Does anyone have experience with a K-1 visa changing to an I-130 with another person and having to request the I-601 without having to leave the USA?
I-131 long waiting time
Dear friends,
I applied for I131 on October and traveled back to my country due to medical situation with my father.
I had valid travel document at that time taht expired end of November.
Now I am still waiting for new travel document which most likely will not come anytime soon.
I am planning to come back US mid if septembr.
Any idea if this will be acceptable or what is the worst scenario to be aware of.

Alternate Options to Keep Status After H1B Expiration
I'm on h1b, and my i-797A will expire on September 30, 2024. Given that I cannot land a job to apply for h1b extension, what are the alternate options to keep the status?
My i-140 has already been approved under eb3 (SKILLED) category. I'm waiting for priority date to be current to file my i 485 (change of status). If I were to move to f1 visa, will I still be able to file for 485 when the priority date becomes current?
Is there any grace period like 60 days or 10 days after my i797 expiration date (9/30/2024)?
what if we go b1/b2 visa route, can we still file i 485 for green card? Is b1/b2 status eligible to file i485?

I sent everything, when I say everything I mean everything that they need when I just applied and I spoke with several agent who told me that my case look good and there is nothing outstanding.. but if there are issues… why not send me a rfe to clarify whatever they don’t understand instead they put the application aside. kmft
