i went on january 2023 with pending i485 on advance parole and i stayed 87 days it was simple just be sure that they will take you to secendory inspection and it will not take more thank 10 min thats it

i travelled to india in November 2023. but i had close my case in court first. everything was simple and smooth.

@karan khaira @LS The issue is not traveling and returning. It will arise during your 485 interview, and they will consider this a case of fraud. You have claimed asylum from a country due to prosecution, yet you traveled to that same country. Now, it appears that you have no problem traveling to same country. I had one of my friend from India who had to file a 601 waiver for the same issue. Unfortunately, his 485 application was rejected because the officer suspected that he had filed a fraudulent asylum claim since he went back and safely returned to USA. Good Luck 🍀

once you file asylum it's best not to return to that country until you get your citizenship

@wagner bradok Its before immigration judge for Individual hearing in April 2026. i got prima facie and i am trying to close my asylum case with prima facie. I applied for i131 in July this year. i hope judge close my case soon.
