Contacted A Live USCIS Agent
Hello platform, last week I contacted a live agent to ask if indeed my lawyer did upgrade my I-130 case from being a resident to a citizen, which I was naturalized since 2022. The agent told me she didn’t see anything like that in the system and made an inquiry for me to upgrade my petition, today I received an email stating to upload my Naturalization certificate. So I guess all those years I was waiting is a waste? All thanks to my lawyer 🤦♂️….I guess that’s why my case was just sitting there and I wasn’t getting any updates! What do you guys think?

@K 🇺🇸 D 🇭🇳 IKR, so how long more do I have to wait now since my case will be upgraded? Have any idea?

@Lord Is My Shepherd 🙏 I am not sure but you should see something very soon. My understanding is that as soon as you are upgraded you are priority. If they emailed you asking for your certificate that is a good sign.
