I started the process in 2020 (employment base GC) and my case was paused since May 2023, finally today I got the approval!!! I also submitted myself the GC though marriage (in July/2024) not sure if that case helped me to get the approval of this case.
I am extremely grateful, couldn’t stop crying seeing this!! I’ll be able to travel to my country for Christmas this year so excited!!

How long would it be to get a green card in hand, rougly?
Im close to my approval (hopefully) and I’ve been wondering how long the NVC will take. I’ve heard it could range from two months to four months. sometimes longer.
but realistically if I were to get approved today, when would I see the green card and be free to move to the states?

EAD after Biometrics
Good evening everyone,
I submitted my 765 almost 2 months after filing 485. I was sent another biometrics appointment where I was only taken a picture for the EAD last week Friday Aug 16th, how long did your guy’s approval take? I know everyone’s timeline varies but just want to have some insight. thanks!

This journey is coming to an end for me.
Guys, I recommend you not spend too much time on this app. A few months ago, I was checking it every day, even twice a day, to see if there were any updates. I got anxious and sick, decided I couldn't live like this and even deleted the app and stopped checking the website.
"My progress" was only adding months, now I know that feature is 0 reliable.
I started this process 3 years ago when my husband was a resident. It's been a long road, a long messy road that is NOW OVER.
