Approved Green Card! ✅
The wait is over. It was a long process full of emotions, but the day has come. I am very happy😭🥹, I will be able to return to my country after 5 years🇲🇽. My son and I started the process with my husband being a permanent resident, my husband had to renew his residency and ended up becoming a US citizen. My son got his green card 4 months ago and today was my turn. A week ago I received an email that they had taken action on the case, I contacted Emma and she told me that the case was going through a security review. Today was unbelievable, I woke up in the middle of the night, checked my online account and saw that step 3 of the interview was marked as completed and the total processing time was reduced to 1 week, there was still no approval letter in the documents section but that really gave me a good hunch. Today Approximately at 7:35 am I received an email notification that they had taken action on the case, it was finally the approval. No interview!

@regina 1993 yes I decided to call instead of chat today and the agent I spoke to said there was no change to my case but then when I asked where my case was located, she said it was sent to the field office today 😱 , I was so excited and scared to ask another agent if it really is sent to my field office afraid of disappointment, so I am really hoping that it's true and not take too long at field office 🥹

@regina 1993 hey girl, so my husband got an email saying an action has been taken on his account but there was nothing in his profile, I logged into mine also but I didn't see anything in the document side also but my progress tab Finally moved from 6 months to 2 months and the current step is 3 weeks

@regina 1993 yes I did, I received another rfe yesterday but this time from my field office. I responded to it before which was tax return, but I guess what I provided was not enough, they need my husband's tax transcript

@mariam T When I submitted my RFE response with the tax return, about two months later (when the transcripts were already available in my IRS online account) I opted to upload the IRS tax return transcripts to my USCIS online account. …I think that helped me not be asked for more evidence on that. I hope you get a positive response soon! I have already received my card!

@regina 1993 thank you, how many years of tax transcript did you provide? my rfe said most recent tax year so am not sure if it's just 1 year which is 2023 that I need to provide?
