Form I485 base on approved asylum
My I-485 asylum-based adjustment case was pending at NBC for more than 30 months. Recently, a USCIS agent told me the case was transferred to the Boston Field Office even though I live in Illinois. Is this normal, does it happened with anyone and she told me that an officer looked at my case two weeks ago but i don't see any change in status yet
I-485 approved - ROW
F1 to AOS by EB2-NIW is approved on 5/21/2026. The detailed timeline is attached. I also applied for and received an I-20 extension while my AOS was pending. AOS was self-filed. PD got current for FAD on March visa bulletin (~3 days after the RD). I applied for EAD but did not receive it.

i-485 pending after i-130 approval
I received a verbal approval during my interview. My I-130 has already been approved. During the interview, the officer said the document would arrive in 5–6 weeks, 8 weeks at most. That gave me hope that my I-485 would also be approved quickly, especially since she even gave me a timeframe for the document delivery.
Has anyone else received similar guidance but still ended up waiting a long time for the Adjustment of Status decision? I’m not sure how this new criminal background recheck process has been affecting timelines. thank you.
