I-485 approved - ROW
F1 to AOS by EB2-NIW is approved on 5/21/2026. The detailed timeline is attached. PD is May 2024 (regular processing) and was approved 10 months later.
I also applied for and received an I-20 extension while my AOS was pending. AOS was self-filed. PD got current for FAD on March visa bulletin (~3 days after the RD). I applied for EAD but did not receive it.

@ I had biometrics on 17 Apr and after only got one ghost silent update on 23 May. All agents told me that case is at NBC with interview waived and that ghost alert was just a general system maintenance update. But nothing is required or scheduled for me and case is processing normally (all of them said). Currently, Iām at STEM OPT and hoping NIW will approve soon with USCIS Memo affect.

You applied i-485 AOS before getting i-140 approved, Biometric and other things done while your i-140 was pending for decision. i-485 got approved right after your i-140 was approved.
Am i right? Please let me know...
and kindly explain what is FAD and RD in full form.

@M. & H. no actually. Can you see my timeline in my profile? It is supposed to be open to the public, but I'm not sure. I applied for an I-140 in May 2024 and was approved in March 2025. Then I applied for an I-485 in February 2026. FAD is the final action date, which is given in the USCIS visa bulletin. RD is the I-485 receipt date. I learned so many things from the Reddit group EB2_NIW. I suggest that you read and check that group.
