EB3 Unskilled Kansas City FO
Hello everyone,
Has anyone got approval from Kansas City FO? There is a post circulating in Reddit where an applicant was denied as they were not able to provide the information that USCIS was asking for. The employer is Mc Donald’s and it seems like the applicant had not started work before the interview which USCIS has deemed as a grounds for refusal including the applicant having advance degree and other items. Also BDV’s legitimacy was mentioned in the denial letter it seems.
Does anyone know about this?
Removal with sijs
Hello,
My immigration judge ordered my deportation on August 14, 2025, and I currently have an appeal pending before the BIA. Subsequently, my SIJS petition was approved by USCIS on November 3, 2025. Now, I am unsure what to do with my approved SIJS status—specifically, whether I can use it to terminate my removal proceedings. I am seeking advice regarding my case, or would like to hear from anyone who has gone through a similar situation.
greencard letter
Quick question guys so I recently got my greencard vawa approved , and today after 5 days I got a letter welcome to the united states of America etc. I thought I would have gotten a card .. .. is this the process. its says card will come in like 3 weeks is this the process .a letter comes first?
Got laid off 2 weeks after receiving green card (EB2-NIW through employer) — any risk?
I received my green card through EB2-NIW, with my employer as petitioner and myself as beneficiary (not common but this was the standard at my big tech company). My I-140 case relied on my job description to prove my merits, although employment is technically not a requirement for NIW.
Two weeks after approval, I was laid off as part of a mass restructuring. I have no immediate plans to pursue citizenship. A couple of questions:
1. Is there any risk of my green card being revoked? One attorney I consulted said it’s recommended to stay at your employer for at least 6 months after approval, but advice from different attorneys has been inconsistent. Does this mean I need to find a similar occupation right away to protect my status? If so, how soon — and how long before I can safely change to a different field?
2. Can I travel internationally right away? My card was approved 5/2 and I was laid off 5/20. Can I travel to my home country and stay for, say, up to 6 months without issues?

Final adjudication
Need some opinions about my EB3-Unskilled AOS case situation.
My PD is Sept 28, 2021 and I have been current since March 2026. I already completed my interview in July 2023. Recently my congressman inquiry received this response from USCIS:
“Your case is currently under review by an adjudications officer. Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.”
I’ve also been hearing from some people that NBC is transferring many cases to field offices or non-local field offices for final approval.
So now I’m curious:
* Does “under review by an adjudications officer” usually mean final review stage?
* Can a case still be transferred after this point?
* Has anyone with similar wording recently received approval?
* Did your case stay at NBC or move to a field office before approval?
Just trying to understand where my case may be in the process after the interview. Thanks everyone.
fingerprint
Hello guys, my submission date is September 2022 ## previously had my work permit and travel permit for two years. After they expired, I reapplied for both the work authorization and travel permit. It has now been about 17-18 months. I already received my work authorization renewal, but for the travel permit, the status had said "fingerprints were already taken" based on my previous biometrics.
Last month, however, I was requested to provide biometrics again for the Form I-131, and I completed them a couple of weeks ago. Do you guys think that's a positive sign for case or ? #Vawa , #Vawa360 #vawaead
