You must establish that you and the beneficiary have been in each other's physical presence at any time during the two years immediately preceding the filing of this petition.
The photographs of you and the beneficiary establish that you have met in person; however, they do not establish when you met.
Submit evidence that you and your fiance(e) have met each other in person at some time during the two-year period before the filing date of your petition. Evidence may include, but is not limited to:
• Your own statement which must include the date, place, and circumstances of your meeting. If you submit a personal statement it must be supported by additional evidence.
• Copies of travel documents (itineraries, airline tickets, boarding passes; hotel accommodations, etc).

• Military orders or letters from commanding officers.
• Photocopies of your passport and/or your fiance(e)' s passport, (including biographical data pages and pages showing entry and exit stamps showing that you have both been present in a given location at the same time.
• Affidavits of friends, neighbors, or other knowledgeable associates. All affidavits must conform to the guidelines cited below:
Written statements sworn to or affirmed by two persons, other than yourself and the person you are petitioning for, who were living at the time the event(s) occurred, and who have personal knowledge of the event you are trying to prove. RFIE for 2020 tax docs (co-sponsor) AFTER biometrics?
Hello everyone
- Concurrent filing July 2021
- Approved Petition (oct2020)
- completed biometrics sept 16
- received RFIE for co-sponsors 2020 tax documents (unavailable at time of filing)
1. Does uploading the required documents via myUSCIS process faster than mailing to office? does it matter or is one way preferred over the other?
2. what does this mean in terms of our timeline?
3. should i be worried about the RFIE post biometrics?
any insights appreciated thank you very much!

I-130 pending, case actively being reviewed
my husband and I submitted our spousal visa application May of 2020. In June 2021 we received an #RFE notice and promptly replied. our case now says we are #actively being reviewed. it’s been a very long journey, just praying for the best. Having a community to vent to and ask questions is helpful.
Any similar experiences?
