RFE response
Question about responding to RFE. I am doing AOS (I-485). I received RFE in February, and my due date for RFE is 5/2. I’ve done what I can do for RFE, but I need some more time to gather all the document. I saw USCIS extending flexibility d/t Covid response. My RFE paper says I was given the maximum allotted time and it will not be extended. does anyone know if Covid response be effective on my case?

if it says you have been given the maximum allotted time then that’s the max time. you can do it !

If USCIS office has published a bulletin about extending the response time for your category then you can get more time. check USCiS website to know about it. They gave last year 60 days extension on RFE response time for various categories.

Hanah, yoh need to submit with in 60 days after your deadline(5/2). Check above link they have probably given this covid related extension last time.
