my interview experience: we arrived 20 minutes early, they asked us for the interview letter and gave us a ticket to wait, we waited 50 minutes and then the officer called us, i brought a translator (I don't speak fluent English) and my husband and I, the officer super friendly, from the moment we entered the room he told my translator that my case had already been approved that he would only confirm my name and background questions of yes or no. After that, he informed out how to remove the conditions and then apply for citizenship and that's it. I didn't ask my husband anything and he said congratulations, in two weeks I will receive my green card, then we left and that's it, super happy and calm, I hope that you and everyone do the same or better than me, good luck in your interview. However, the agent told me my i131 was reviewing and i485 was made a request to schedule interview. I can’t see anything from myUSCIS account. What should I do for this situation? what is the meaning of current when current can be 1 or 2 or even beyond ? I filed for I 765& 485 on April 2021 & still waiting for an EAD , is it so hard to make a decision on issuing an EAD ? It’s been 14 months and no EAD with a current processing time of green card my i485 timelines days 32.5 months . Family based who filed in sept 2021 or even Jan 2022 have their green card itself handed over . why this discrimination against emplacement based green cards ? how long must I remain unemployed with no benefits and aid for the country ? what is the benefit of having a current priority date and never receiving anything current . can’t make an enquirer coz they keep pushing the dates further and further . Processing time for Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (I-485) at Texas Service Center is now at 32.5 months. It was at 15 months few days ago. Timeline for Approved VAWA case, approved Work Permit and Travel Permit as well as currently pending Adjustment of Status and I-130 paused upon submitting of a I-360 right around the interview for I-485. * During an interview I asked to hold my I-485 and I-130 in abeyance, which means they didn't have to deny them and hold off the decision until the VAWA is approved/denied. Currently on H1b 05/2021 Got married 07/2021 Applied 08/2021 Missed a date for Biometrics after changing mailing addresss 10/2021 Recieved a notice with a new date for Biometrics 12/2021 Biometrics 02/2022 EAD card approved - No combo card (I 131 not approved yet) 03/2022 Received an interview notice 05/2022 Interview at Newark USCIS - I485 Approved a day after the interview Still I131 not approved: Case got closed 3 days after I485 approved. Interview - Waited 2 hrs at USCIS and had the interview for est 30min - Interviewer asked to show pictures of us with friends or/and family and any joint docs like lease, insurance, etc and scanned all docs I provided. - Since Im pregnant, I was asked to provide a doctor’s notes & pictures - Interviewer was really nice; she told us at the end of the interview that she’s gonna ask for approval after submitting all docs today. But ill receive a 2 yrs temporary green card as our marriage has not been 2 yrs yet. She asked us to send a birth certificate to USCIS after baby is born so that I can get longer one(10 yrs green card). Interview Questions Husband - What’s name of parents in law - Name of wife’s current company? - When did you propose? - Anniversary date?
