Any VAWA July 2020 Approvals?
ive been waiting a long time but i still have not gotten any news about my petition. i dont even know who to contact anymore. My lawyers just tell me to keep waiting but its so frustrating. I am a DACA holder and its about to expire soon now i have to find $500 to renew it so i can continue working.

@Jacob O yes i got a RFE and i send them all they asked for in December 2020, and yes i also received a prima facie the first year. But i never used does benefits as i already had a working permit and am making decent money.

wow my lawyer didn’t change me to renew it I only pay for the EAD which uscis refunded me 🥺

@help lord 🙏🏼, Jacob O Honestly i dont remember since it was such a long time ago but i do remember sending them letters of good conduct. FBI background and a few other things.

@Shauna Hickman it might be because they doing the renewal through vawa. Since im going to have to do it through my DACA then i have to pay plus the $500 i was talking about is basically the uscis fees

I filed in July 2020 and got approved this week. 3 primafacie, no RFE. Keep the faith!

@Anita Annie Congratulations im so happy for you. Yes i hope mine gets approved soon my father has a very delicated brain surgery that he might now come back alive from, But it needs to be done. If God forbit the worse comes i want to be able to visit. I am thinking of doing an Expedite Request lets see what happens.

@Hector ahorita mismo estoy en tu misma situación! terminaste aplicando para la renovación del DACA? y al cuanto tiempo de meter DACA te aprobaron VAWA?

@tanii es Me aprovaron el vawa ahora estoy esperando que me aprueven el i485. Pero para estar seguro voy a tener que renovar mi DACA a principios de Enero si no no me llega ninguna decision a final de Diciembre. No tengo que renovar DACA ya que tengo mi vawa aprovado, pero para estar mas seguro lo renovare.
