you can submit enquiry right now!! my receipt date is March 19, 2021 and I called the officer said I’m outside normal processing times. she also said that I wouldn’t be able to see that online because she used a different system to check. the system they have online that’s available to us is not accurate for asylum seekers wanting to adjust status. June 16 will be the 30th day mark since I submitted the inquiry so I hope they respond to me before that.

@walid saker, I just told you that you can’t really pay attention to that. if I had gone with that information, I wouldn’t know that my case was actually outside normal processing time. the online case processing times for Asylees adjusting their status is not accurate.

I should also note that they USCIS is VERY inconsistent because for example I have the friends who’ve already adjudged their status. 2 of them applied between March-May 2020 and they got their green card April 20222. the last one applied Dec 2021 (AFTER me) and he got his May 2022. So don’t be surprised if you called and they lie and say you’re not outside of normal processing time. this is really a matter of luck, which is unfair but we really can’t do anything about it.

“within 72 hours” meaning they can take anywhere from 0 min up to 72 hours to return the call….absolutely so offense or to be rude…but what is your first language?
