Case Processing
What are the status adjustment interviews like based on a year of approved political asylum?
What questions do they ask? How do you prepare? If you say you're ready for an interview, is it possible they won't do it?

EVERYTHING GOOD THAT EVER HAPPENED IN MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY HAPPENED UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP
finally my journey is over… though it was long but I am so glad that I can look back and smile… I never received any request for further evidence, except for the medical towards my green card… no interview for I-485… no lawyer or lawyer fees… God is faithful is all I can say… my words of encouragement is that you shouldn’t listen to all the rumors flying around… once you have a genuine case, sit down and build on it… travel if you don’t have any criminal record or any arrest record… I travelled to my native country on Advanced Parole and no issue reentrying… I am a trump guy and believe me when I say that all the positives in my immigration journey from getting my first visa into the country to this green card happened under Trump… so don’t believe everything the media says!!!

Finally Approved and got my card in the mail :)
I was pleasantly surprised on how fast this entire process has been. Considering i started this process back in 2022 with boundless and was a terrible outcome to then doing my process with SimpleCitizen in 2024 that was amazing from start to finish.
Even the interview was completely amazing. We ended up bonding so well with the agent that the interview felt no longer about this adjustment of status at all and by the end of the interview, the agent approved my case on the spot. 🥲🙌🏾
To everyone else still on the "waiting game" do not give up!
Have a bless day xo

APPROVED ON THE SPOT 🤗🥲🥳🎉🎊🍾
Let me share our Interview experience with you guys.
today at 8:15am was our interview for my husband GC. on our way over there 7:40am we got 2 email “we have taken actions on your case” we were so confused. we got ther register and were called 10 mins after. we prepared really good all copies pictures original documents and decided to not bring our baby in. As soon as we got to the door the officer said WHERES THE BABY? and we where we left her cuz we weren’t sure she could come in and She was Girlllll I was waiting to see that beautiful girl so bad, I’m going to denied you just for that lol. she was laughing. we did 3 steps and before we sat down she said you are approved this is going to take about 5 mins. than she started saying how she loved us and she is Team us lmao. she was like you guys pictures are everything I was showing them to everyone here, the pregnancy announcement was her favorite. than she said I saw you going to Disney and she started talking about Disney and giving us advices to not spend much money. after she was recommending places we should go. she said she saw we are always somewhere and having adventures so she show us pictures where she recommended us to go. we share pictures and so did she of her family. 20 mins In we still laughing and talking Disney and American Dream mall. Felt more like talking to a new friend. than she asked us 3 questions. 1. confirm our address, I answered. 2. any criminal record, we both said no together. 3. if my husband came on a J1 visa and if he had the 2 year restriction. I said yes J1 and No the restriction. than I said if she was gonna need the copies that the appointment asked us to bring and she said no girl I saw all that already, I’m good lol (I always upload unsolicited evidence). so my husband started laughing because we lasted 3 days creating this beautiful album lol. So I was like omg if you don’t look at this album I’m going to be mad laughing and she was like okay I look at it and she started looking at it and laughing at all pictures “she looked at all 223 pictures”. and kept saying how we are so damn cute and how we have a picture perfect family and we been everywhere that she loved that for us. than I started sharing about when I met my husband and she said I was personally curious how ya met. and I told her how and how we moved together 2 months later and she was like girl i would have done the same he is so handsome 🤣🤣🤣. after that we kept laughing and she said I already approved ya case, I loved having you guys here. we kept joking and laughing on our way out with her and as the door closed behind us we heard her tell the other officers OMG They are Amazing!!
by the time we got the the car the i130 said approved and approval document were there and the i485 said taking action on your case. now we just got another email “taking action on your case” most likely the i485 approval letter will be there in few mins.
I want to say God is Good and don’t be afraid if you marriage is real, there’s nothing to worry about it will show because he had a previous Vawa case before else met and that was not even mentioned at all., my husband was so so nervous and everything went does so beautiful. now my husband is Approved and we are so Greatful.

ALL AOS MARRIAGE 130/485 are adjudicated at a field office not the benifit centers.
Hi,,,,,, I have taken a long break from this app since getting my greencard in December 2024.
I wanted post this to try and help those doing an AOS.
All AOS are adjudicated at your local field office. Benifit centers only decide on a 765 and 131 for an AOS.
Benifit centers look at your application, make sure nothing is missing and then send your 130 and 485 to your field office. This transfer can happen electronically or the physical file can be sent. You won’t necessarily know when your file is transferred. It will not show on this app.
The time for approval is highly dependent on your field office. To find out if your file has been transferred, you can call USCIS and keep saying info pass to get a real person. Ask if your file has been transferred. Emma is useless and the agents typing are not helpful.

My link is not hyperlink? You can copy and paste. Enter your zip code in the first one and then enter your info in the second link which will give you your average wait time.
I have learned so much about all of this and wanted to post this. Wishing everyone the best.
