each case is unique, but looks like your case is going to be decided shortly, I would keep your i20 valid (if possible renew for the max length before the new policy get in effect) that would buy you more time and a safe net in case your i485 is denied or delayed.

Quit after you receive your EAD. And think about working for your employer after completing that running semester. This would prove your intention to work.

Hey there, I’m in a similar boat with a 06/15/2022 PD. My semester is about to start too, so I’m facing tuition fees as well. I received my EAD in June, but I chose not to use it yet just to maintain my F-1 status as a backup plan. Stay strong, and hopefully, good news comes for both of us soon!

@Yony W you got your ead card it’s mean your previous status has been terminated automatically. but better to ask from lawyer.

@mo kh I filed in March, completed biometrics in May, and received my EAD card in late June. And I don’t have any dependents. Hope you get yours soon!
