Supporting documents
During our interview, the IO didn’t ask for any supporting document and we made the mistake of handing the ones we had to him. He said everything should be fine but it seems that was an empty promise. It’s now been 11 months and 2 months after a home visit by the DHS, no decision made! To make things worse, there was no RFE sent to us.
My concern is how can they decide on our case without supporting documents? Is there any way we can still send those documents to them?
I will be glad if you can shed some light to this matter.

International Travel while AOS is pending
Hi, I have to travel back to my home country this December. I have my EAD/AP card. However, my legal contact at work is recommending that I avoid travel because if my GC arrives in mail while I’m abroad, I won’t be able to re-enter the country on the EAD/AP card. The explanation they’re giving is that once GC is approved, the EAD/AP card is invalid because I’m no longer an AOS applicant. But it’s not my fault that I don’t have control on the timeline - I can’t control when GC will get approved. Any suggestions? Has anyone experienced this situation before?

hello, so I have been trying to find different cases similar to mine and I just found out that unlike many others, my reciept number starts with IOE which means that my application is being handled online rather than at a service center. is there anyone else who can help me understand how the process may be impacted this way?

Standalone AP
hi all, does anybody have anything to share about where the TX service center might be in processing standalone AP? I originally forgot to file it with my EAD so I sent it a few weeks later so I am expecting it to be approved at a different (earlier) time than the EAD but it has been almost 9 months and still nothing. I know USCIS says 8-10, just wandering if anybody knows where they are at #ap #I-131
