I think now that’s what they do. Eventhough it says online ones are processed fast but it looks like even if u file by mail, u will still get a receipt number starting with IOE. Mine starts with IOE but I was told they are going to process it like others so it’s in the queue.

mine is going a bit faster than expected.

i submitted the application on 24th august and got reciept number on 25 august. then on 12. november i had my biometric appointment. now i am waiting for further ead and travel document.

IOE is form filed online. did you file online?

then you are being processed electronically, that's normally faster.

not sure which category your under with i-130, that also has bearing on your case.

mine starts with IOE too. USCIS received my case on August 23rd. Biometrics was September 24th. I guess it was moving fast but unfortunately I was issued an RFE 2 weeks after that. they received it on November 16th. So now I guess my case got pushed back a little. 😔

i haven’t recieved any rfe and I didn’t have to submit i-130 since I was already in USA and i got married here to a citizen.

what do you mean you didn't submit I-130? I'm in the US too, married to a USC, I had to submit the I-130 with the I-485

my I-130 was a part of my I-485 as i submitted both at exactly same time with all the documents required. hence i didnot have to do it separately and wait for its approval.

my receipt starts with IOE and I’m outside the US with my husband. I submitted in September 6th and it’s has been in active review since September 23rd. no updates since then sadly.

it's a slow process, but it will pan out for everyone just be patient.
