Card was returned to USCIS (nbc)
on November 27, 2021 my EAD card was returned by USPS to USCIS because of a typo in my zip code by USCIS.. I called USCIS as soon an possible and they told me that it can take up to 30 days for the card to be mailed back to me😭 today, still no updates !
I’m so frustrated, I just want to be able to use my advance parole to visit my family for Christmas 😭
How long does it take for a reply- Expedite EAD
Hello all,
I applied for an expedite November 5- no answer, then I reapplied 2nd of December and now they tell me to wait 30 days again for a reply. Is this considered an expedite at this point? Totally disappointing. What’s your experiences? thank you!
K1 Visa with a dependent child
have a question about the process of dependent children also coming as part of the K1 Visa program. My question is, since my fiancée has a child from a previous marriage, and she is already divorced. She has full custody of her son and the father is not part of his sons life.
I was wondering is there anything special that is needed besides the sons passport that will be needed for him to leave the country?

According to the Uscis time estimate for Vermont, they should be processing Feb 6, 2021 best case scenario since it’s 10-16 months. Is there any Jan 2021 751 approvals from Vermont on here? I know we are due for a new update in a within a week for current processing times but I think 10-16 is pretty accurate still however the most current I have seen on Lawfully was dec 30, 2020 for ROC Vermont

10 months later and I am still waiting… I checked case tracker and most of the EAD cases surrounding my number have already been approved. I guess my case is going to be one of the “lucky” cases that don’t get approved within the maximum processing time. This is just so exhausting!

ASYLUM at SAN FRANCISCO ASYLUM OFFICE
Hello fellow immigrants. I'm moving to the west coast and with this being said, my asylum case is also relocating from the asylum office in Arlington to the San Francisco office. I know different centers have different backlogs, and I know of the new processing order in effect since 2018 (newest comers first) but is there anyone with a pending asylum case in the San Francisco asylum office here? If so, how is the backlog there? I'm just trying to have an idea. (PS: I'm one of the "forgotten ones" with a case pending since 2017, and I haven't had an interview yet. I did have my biometrics taken in 2018.)

I-485 and I-765 has been under active review since 4th October. Really hoping AP gets approved soon since it’s already been 5 months and NBC’s processing time is currently 3-5 months for AP.

Dec 3, 2021 ~ Card delivered
The EAD was delivered in a Priority mail flat rate envelope (the one w/the window).
The contents were The EAD attached to the notice (which is dated the same day it was mailed out), A pamphlet like piece of paper which has the wording FORM I-931 in the lower right hand corner. It has info regarding what to do before leaving the country, parole into the US, etc.
All info on my card is correct, the same picture from the EAD I had when I was w/my ex back in 2019 was reused, It displays my maiden name ONLY not double barreled, it’s a C09 not C31 as I thought I would receive. It’s fine, I’m just grateful I have the permit. The envelope also contained a little envelope to place your EAD inside of. It’s to protect your card from wireless communication. It also has a pamphlet that shows you how to use your EAD card at CBP Land border crossings.
