I 290b motion to reconsider and reopen
hi guys I'm having trouble understand why my case is still on review 7 month last month I called uscis and they told me I'll hear from them within a month and still waiting can someone please help me out with my case thank you all

My motion to reopen & reconsider was submitted back in July 2019. In Nov, 2020 I received a notification saying that my case got transfered to another jurisdiction. Up until now I have not heard back from USCIS yet…

I hope you don’t fall under the same timeline as I did. after 2 and a half YEARS since my attorney submitted my motions (reopen & reconsider) we haven’t heard back from USCIS yet …

@robert, this month my motion is completing 940 days with no answer at all. Look at the discrepancy between 180 days and 940 days to provide an answer. My attorney submitted letters several times and he’s been enquiring AAO since 2020 but all he gets is: “expect to have an answer soon”.

Motion or appeal. Basically it was an appeal to uscis to reopen. From case was received by uscis,then later transferred to AAO,and case was transferred to another uscis office. I called uscis customer service number and the best I got was machine generated response,and a site to contact uscis.

The case moved from case was received by uscis,,then case was transferred to AAO,and later case was transferred to another uscis office. So I dont know the uscis office that my case was transferred to. I made service request and got a message that uscis completed my request and sent a response. I have not received any letter or text message about the response.. Very frustrating experience. I called uscis customer service and got a machine generated response that case was transferred to another uscis office. I did not get the chance to speak to a representative at uscis office.

My Motions (appeal and reopen) got submitted in June 2019: unfortunately my attorney made a huge mistake with my work experience starting date. instead of typing in June 12, 2010 on my RFE - as I emailed him -, he filled the form in with: June 1st 2010… My application was based on EB category: employment category. - USCIS received my appeals in June 2019 - in December 2020 I was notified that my case got transfer to another jurisdiction I already spoke to a senator that submitted a request to AAO in Vermont and Washington and both said that they will provide an answer to my case “soon”. In July it will complete 3 years since my appeals were delivered to USCIS…

How do you manage to speak to someone at AAO and the office your case was transferred to? My calls ends with machine generated response of what is already known to me on my case status update.

go through the USCIS chat and get your attorney to call them. attorneys can escalate it

guys I have they same 1 290b case file motion to reopen since August 2021 they mail me letter say they receive my appeal &incase they need biometric they will mail also I send Renew of my ead June 2021 and 23 days ago I get update they close my form because beneficiary receive status true other means I don’t know what it mean I stress out so it’s being 8 months & yesterday I receive letter that’s they receive my appeal and transfer my case to they chief officer at federal plaza ny & incase I need to make inquiry I should mail them
