K1 Visa with a dependent child
have a question about the process of dependent children also coming as part of the K1 Visa program. My question is, since my fiancée has a child from a previous marriage, and she is already divorced. She has full custody of her son and the father is not part of his sons life.
I was wondering is there anything special that is needed besides the sons passport that will be needed for him to leave the country?

Yes. Twice. I couldn't have submitted the application with an expected approval if I didn't. Why do you ask?

I just thought about your question @fixo RN. With Covid travel restrictions it's been impossible for her to travel here. Hence I have had to go to her.

@ A.W…I think it is okay since full custody is granted however in some cases I think a letter of consent may be needed. .

@MiTy1 I don't want to take any chances with this guy. I won't go into details but her son doesn't even want to hear his father's name, and he wanted to come back home me last time I was there.

you need a legal letter from the father saying that he’s aware that his son is moving out from the home country.
