Andr - you may or never receive anything from USCIS about that, as they don't process all expedite requests. Look up #expediterequest in the app. you'll find a post titled, "How To: EXPEDITE REQUEST". I detailed my experience in that post. good luck.

y k - ok. then it is the waiting game again. only USCIS decide whether they accept to expedite cases or not. they do so at their own discretion. but in any case, I do hope you receive some good news soon! 🙏

I requested to expedite on Nov 17 and today the status changed to card is being produced.

@yk my receipt date is Jan 16th and status updated to card being produced today.

I did by myself an expedite request for my EAD on November 19, 2021. I received an email from USCIS for further evidence November 29. I sent it December 1rst and my EAD was approved on December 2nd, 2021. Now I’m expecting for my EAD this week.

@ lilo...how does uscis handle expedite request do they let us know accept or denied or status gets updated...too many different stories I have seen here...mine was raised on Nov 19 for financial hardship termination of job..no email came to provide documents

y k - they're supposed to let you know what action they take with the expedite request, like the other cases. but usually, if you hear/see nothing it means that the request is still pending, e.i. no officer has picked up the request yet. once the expedite request is assigned to an officer, you do receive updates. those updates include instructions where to send more information/documents, or whether they accepted or denied the request.

@ liko this is annoying it's been more than two weeks and no officer assigned...it s an expedite request meaning attention required asap..

@y k I went to uscis chat option on their website and talked with an agent. I requested them to expedite my case based on financial hardship and I explained my case to them and they put in the expedited request. The next day status got updated to expedited request. They didn’t request any documentation from me. They just updated my case to New Card being produced yesterday.
