TSC may 2020 employment based i485 filer. submitted outside processing time request and received answer i don't understand really. what does it mean?
filed in may 2020 texas service center. biometrics August 2020. no update since and submitted service request outside processing time.
just received the following answer:
"We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review, and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received."

I had my biometrics on October 5th 2021 and I am waiting for my I 485 interview- spouse of u.s citizen, and I would like to know if others are waiting or already received interview date in Boston.

I filed I130 for my wife in Oct 2018 and the documents were qualified and sent to NVC in May 2020, but we haven’t heard back from the consulate. I do know that US Embassy in mumbai is where our interview will be scheduled.
Is anyone else stuck in the same situation as I am? or do you think there’s something wrong? Would a lawyer be able to help at this point?

marriage based interview
today I had my marriage based green card interview and everything went well except officer said they need to do a background check and that might take somewhere between 2weeks up to 2 years ! but they approved our marriage and he said once he gets the background check he Will approve the case . is it typical to have a background check after interview?

I don’t how things work in USCIS but as I heard, 3 months after you give your fingerprints, most of the time you get your EAD. Did USCIS get slower or is it normal? It’s been 5 months since I applied and almost 3 months since finger prints were taken.

dependent application status not changed while primary applicant is approved

our application for I-485 (employment based) - consists of four applicants (three dependents with the one primary applicant)
- the primary applicant with two dependents have been approved including receiving the green cards.
- all four of us are in the US
- the final application is still showing as a status “RFE was received”
has this happened before and how were you able to get the final dependent application progressed?
