I130 Spouse
I filed I130 for my wife in Oct 2018 and the documents were qualified and sent to NVC in May 2020, but we haven’t heard back from the consulate. I do know that US Embassy in mumbai is where our interview will be scheduled. Is anyone else stuck in the same situation as I am? or do you think there’s something wrong? Would a lawyer be able to help at this point?

U.S. Embassy India © If your case is documentarily qualified and is not yet received by the consulate for processing, you may reach out to the National Visa Center for more information. NVC can be reached here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/ us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask- nvc.html. We are beginning to schedule routine cases through the NVC, by visa category, as public health conditions and staffing allows. Thank you for your patience. As you may be aware there are many people in similar situations.
