the additional review is the reason for the delay and out of processing time. in other words, Uscis needs more time to review your case or waiting the response from other agencies such as FBI

if it is finished, you will get a decision.

this is unfortunate. they can’t give you a decision since they didn’t even issue RFE for medicals. my suggestion is to call them and ask them to send RFE for medicals. they won’t give you a green card without first going through that step

yes, call USCIS, talk to a tier 2 agent and explain that your case is outside of processing time and you need them to issue the RFE. that’s what I plan to do once I get to my outside of processing period time. still 53 days to get there unfortunately

unfortunately..no .. my spouse last year was going back and forth on L2 ead for 2 yrs from California service center and same response .. background checks, it’s with adjudicated etc..

@A S: since when is your spouse’ EAD pending? I’m asking as my wife is afraid she’ll lose her job as her EAD extension expires in May (and her receipt date for outside of processing time will come only in 7 months)

well I don’t have good news there .. so it was about to expire in aug of 2019 .. we applied had applied for renewal that may 2019.. it expired and the ead never came.. got an rfe to which we responded promptly.. meanwhile our AOS was filed and she got ead through that.. her L2 was no more valid as we didn’t renew so her denial for the previous application came in aug of 21… stating that the visa that was tied to her application is no more valid ..

that’s a BS generic response they sent to everybody. I received the same months ago. my pd is April 2018

PD Nov 2019 eb-2 niw case with this center, received rfe just in Sept 2021, and submitted response back on Oct 2021, still waiting.

I got the same first two sentences to my service request response, however, it also added that my case was with an adjudicating officer and I would receive a decision or notice of action in 60 days (which will be 1st of Feb).

That is exactly what I am hoping Mihai, but I am also cautious that I may not even get a response either given how bad they are…….the fact they have noted 60 days gives me a bit more confidence that I may actually see something. my colleague was approved for 485 on Friday 21st, same PD as myself although for some reason she got an RFE for medicals in Sept 2021.

mine didn't get any 60 days language. my lawyers at work are still firmly saying they believe I'll have it before March. i don't think so even though I'm not a lawyer. they will just do an H1B extension given the current EAD backlog

but i called and they said its clear and in the process of adjustment and adjudication. whatever that means. i actually had a helpful person on the line from USCIS. rare.

I studied this weekend the data on the Chinese Tableau reports. I saw a large movement (about 1300 cases) from SRC to other offices from Wednesday to Friday this week, all cases from FY21 (meaning before September 2020). Even if those are all humanitarian cases (not EB), it should still help us those who filed I-485 before September 2020. I’m hoping my case will move as well, I’m going crazy checking sites every day

you need to download the Tableau app, it’s pretty easy to understand after you download it. The data on the dashboard includes both humanitarian and EB cases. those transferred seem to be humanitarian as some people checked to see if there were I-140 numbers immediately preceding the numbers of the I-485 moved to other centers, and there weren’t. And since EB I-485 filed non-concurrently don’t go to SRC, it means those transferred are not EB

Tableau dashboards can be visualized even without the mobile app. I downloaded Tableau Mobile but it asks for username and password, so it will be easier to just go on Telegram and search for the channels

I know it might seems a bit late but How many times that USCIS send this answer to you? I got these answer twice but no progress at all. I’m also May 2020 filer. I wish there will be a decision soon.
