No response to SR - N400 Outside processing time
I raised an Service request on 10/9 but did not get any response yet. I was informed by email that I can expect a response by 10/31. I called call center and they said I can submit another SR but there is nothing I can really do other than wait until my case is picked up for processing. What should be next step ? US Rep has reached out on my behalf as well. Should I go through an attorney?

if I’m an American born citizen and I receive a job offer going to Canada on a work permit how would I take my fiancé I-129F with me when he arrives to the U.S.? do we need to at least marry first?
if I know I may want to work in Canada next year should we cancel I-129F before he comes or wait till he’s here??

Based on current processing it looks like uscis has stopped working on application made by greencard holder. They are not giving any attention on such case. Only processing Citizen based application like IR1/CR1. Government just showing rules changes in news only. In reality they are working differently.

I have a pending i-485 and had overstay my visa(14 years) prior to submitting my AOS application. My wife(USC) wants to go visit a sick relative back home and would like to bring me with her. has anyone with the same situation as me(visa overstay with pending i-485) travelled with Advance parole and was able to come back with no problem? thank you!
EAD how long?
Hey guys I was just wondering if you have more or less an idea of how long it takes after giving your biometrics for them to issue and EAD. My case is employment base and I cannot start working until I get it. they won't schedule an interview until I have worked at least one month in the company I think so I was just wondering if you knew the timing more or less.

Need help on Interview status
Hi friends,
Need help from the community of friends.
Let me first thank this community for providing useful information and motivation during this stressful period while the GC is getting processed.
Our Green Card interview was on 28-Oct (Thursday) morning. The officer told us that it will be quick as our case was having all documents . It went really well and the officer took just 15 minutes as he said he had all the information. When I asked him when status will change online, he told us that if he enters details today (Thursday) the online status will update within 24 hrs and if on Friday then two days later. when I asked him when can I expect GC, he said it usually takes 2-3 weeks. We didn’t specifically ask him if he approved. May be that’s our bad luck. But hos body language suggested he has approved.
It is now 5 days since our interview and the status still shows that interview was scheduled (this status is as of 9-Sep-2021).
we are not able to understand if we misunderstood what officer said as we felt that he approved our case. Is the case still under review? Or has he approved but online status updates are not happening for us.
We are really worried.
Please share your experience so that we can understand what really may be going on.
