My experience traveling on advance parole.
Good day. I'm sharing my experience traveling on advance parole. I traveled back to my country—I hadn't been there for four years—to see my son. My lawyer advised me against traveling, but I went anyway. It was so nice to be back in your home country my son was so happy both of us crying like baby in the airport I was so happy to see my boy after so many years. The experience was so simple.I spent a month there and returned through JFK. I went through secondary inspection and was asked what category I filed under. I told the officer VAWA. He asked if I knew the risks and if my lawyer had informed me; I said yes, she told me it was up to the CBP officer. He stamped my passport and told me to have a good day. That's it. I wasn't scared at all because the Bible says we walk by faith, not by sight, and I wouldn't let fear hold me back. Oh and i was only there less than 2 mintues..
Interview scheduled for i-730 and i-485
Interesting update, ladies and gentlemen. I received two letters: one for i-730 for my wife and i-485. Interview is scheduled for the same day, same time, and same room.
By the way, online system is not updated on uscis and here in Lawfully.
Please share your recommendations regarding what to expect. I kind of know the standard procedure and possible questions, but maybe someone had the same experience.

still waiting after interview I tried reaching out and they kept saying they are performing additional review on multiple occasions which is taking forever. Any advice pls on what to do at this time, I’m so frustrated 😩 it’s been almost 2 yrs after my interview
