I thought you only had to pay the 100 dollars if you apply for asylum after 2024
hey I received a notification saying I have to pay the 100 dollars. I applied for asylum years ago.

how do you know that your application is pending because of Annual fees ? did you get a notice on home address about annual fees ? because i am also facing this appliction is pending.

I saw that my case status was changed. I am not supposed to pay this fees. I applied for asylum before 2024

my brother too, he applied since 2019 and this week he received the Annual Asylum Fee Notice ($100). I really don’t understand this Fee for I-589

i also check my status i tried to pay but they said you cannot pay the fees right now we will issue the notice then you can pay but my case status is showing application is pending I don’t know why and what to do ?

yes i checked that but when i put my receipt number and A number it’s show AAF is not due for this case we ll send you the notice when fees is due
