Case Processing
AOS case status
so My AOS case status was stuck at “RFE resonse was reveived for 4 months. Today it got changed to “interview was scheduled”. is this normal to change from that to that without going through “ready to be scheduled for an interview”? I have seen everyone go through the “ready to be scheduled for an interview “ status first
Travel
Hey there, I'm here with a question and hope I can get responses that will help me figure out what to do.
I am currently the holder of a B1/B2 visa which I've used to travel to the US before and after my spouse started the immigration process. I am currently at the NVC stage waiting on a date to be set. I've read online articles and seen videos where it was advised not to travel with a pending petition but I'm wondering with the pandemic ongoing would the officer be sympathetic to allow me in or like it is suggested, I can be sent back to my home country?
If anyone has travelled and had to disclose such information, I would appreciate your input.
TIA
Does 'Priority Date' on marriage-based 485 makes any difference?
My 130 got approved in July 2021 and then my attorney filed the 485 for me (need to term the court proceedings first). The 485 receipt indicates a 'priority Date' back in 2019, that's when I filed the 130. Do I get any advantage on this or no? My understanding is there's no bulletin for 485 application when married to a US citizen. Thank you in advance!
N-400 APPLICATION PROCESS TIME
Hi Folks ,

Response From USCIS to my US Representative
I filed VAWA (I360, 765, 131 and 485) October 2, 2020. To this day I have not received anything but very vague responses from USCIS such as “Correspondence es received and USCIS is reviewing it- since September 2021” and Name was Changed bla bla bla. I haven’t got any biometrics/finger print appointment letter yet or RFE.
So I messaged my US Representative Congresswoman to inquire about my case and this is USCIS Reponse…
“your constituent’s Form I-765 and Form I-131 appear to be outside our normal processing times. Therefore, I have requested the cases be assigned to an adjudicating officer for review.”
How long should I wait to expect a response ?
please advice
thank you

2022 Prayer
i just wanted to give a 2022 prayer for all of us who are still waiting for their case to be continued and approved.
let’s have patience, hope, and for most positive news regarding our cases for this year. let 2022 be the year of good changes, (so we can file taxes jointly next year )! AMEN
Change of SC without notifying
I chatted Emma up and a live agent told me, my 2 cases are transferred to Vermont from Nebraska. I asked why and no answer. It really sucks because Nebraska is the fastest- processing between 4-7months, Vermont processes 10-14months, so does that mean I’m going to wait for another 10-14months after waiting for 10 months since I filed my application?

I didn’t see my son for over a year and cannot work.
they must be kidding bc this is freaking anormal.
i sent a request thru a congressman and still waiting.
got an auto reply for my outside normal processing time like “we’re still reviewing and bla bla bla”.
is there anyone who’s still waiting more than a year?
