Hello everyone, just a quick update today my attorney recieved the letter for an interview. I’m happy and nervous at the same time, it’s been 4.2 years since I applied. I need some guidance on how to be prepared and please give me feedback on your experiences for vawa I-485 interviews. 🥹🙏🤞🏼

Biometrics appt again after 3 years
i am feeling down right now. i was expecting my Vawa approval. i am Dec 2021. Vawa only. anyone have gone through this same situation? i received a notice to get my biometrics done again but now the service center is TSC. last time service center was VSC Any ideas as to why ? how long after submitting them will i get an answer ? thank you all.

I have been checking our case I130 for my wife, and since December I don't see any changes, like I know by the number on our case, and I can see the previous case, and there is no changes 😞 any one have idea if they are working, with new president, changes and all thinks. are they working in the cases???
our case was send in Octoberof 2023. US citizen to wife abroad. .

USPS delayed
I have received my copy of the approved combo card notice and the original has been “sent” to my lawyers office. I’m desperately waiting to have it in hand in order to obtain my drivers license. already received my SSN. now there’s an issue with USPS. I retrieved my tracking # and usps reflects it’s been delayed and been stuck in transit at Tennessee (I’m in Georgia) for 2 weeks now. I’ve called usps and they gave me a case#, only to call me back from my local usps stating what already reflects from tracking. she has now sent me to fill out a “lost package request”. it’s a lot of back and forth, I wish they would just be responsible/accountable for the package and provide an update or escalate it themselves.

I got an email saying that action has been taken on my case and to my surprise my I-130 had been approved. Just have to wait for the I-485 to be approved 🙏🏽 I waited for about 8 months without hearing anything other than RFE and finally good news!
FYI: my case said 58 months literally minutes before I got the approval letter. I can’t stress this enough and you’ve probably heard it a lot but don’t rely on the wait time they provide.
